One day, a father who came from a wealthy family took his son on a trip around the country with the aim of showing the child how poor the lives of the people around him.They spent a few days at a farmhouse which is considered the father owned a very poor family.
After returning from their trip, the father asked his son:
"How was the trip son?".
"The ride was great, yeah".
"Did you see how poor people live ?," The father asked.
"O, of course," replied the boy.
"Now tell me, what did you learn from the trip," said the father.
The son answered:
I saw that we have one dog, but they have four dogs.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, but they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden, but they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and patio they have the whole horizon.
We have a narrow land to stay, but they had a field as far as the eye can see.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve one another.
We buy our food, but they grow their own food.
We have walls around our property to protect us, while they have friends to protect them.
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added the words: "Father, thank you for showing me how poor we are"
